Best time to visit Guangzhou

octobernovemberaprilmay

October to November and April to May offer the best weather in Guangzhou's subtropical climate, avoiding the intense summer heat (up to 40°C) and typhoon season from June to September. Note that the Canton Fair takes place in mid-April to early May and mid-October to early November, which can make accommodation scarce and expensive.
